Karen is one of the youngest and most highly qualified Human Resources Directors within the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, attaining Fellowship status over 3 years ago together with a degree in Organisational Development. A firm but fair and pragmatic Human Resources Director, Karen believes that HR is there to support the business in order to achieve the desired results.

With over 15 years’ HR experience, 9 of which were at director level, Karen has worked in many industry sectors including health and care, retail, defence and aerospace, manufacturing, finance, IT, not for profit and leisure.

Described by her fellow directors as one of the most operationally and commercially focused HRD's that they have ever worked with, Karen has formidable skills in change management and organisational development and her work encompasses all aspects of HR including recruitment and retention, management development and employee engagement.

As well as providing HR support for the Commissioning Development team, Karen is also responsible for our Learning and Development Programme. This programme encompasses all aspects of organisation, business and personal development and runs training courses and workshops nationwide. Karen also provides HR support and guidance for Commissioning Development clients and delivers our Employee Engagement programme.
