What we do

About Health offers a unique blend of providing services under contract to the NHS, supporting and developing clinician-led provider organisations and delivering a comprehensive Learning and Development programme aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of those working in providing.

Our provider organisation currently delivers services in the North West and the South East and each service has very high satisfaction ratings from both patients and commissioning bodies. We have strong foundations in both clinical and corporate governance and were one of the first provider organisations to gain CQC registration.

Our team also provide a comprehensive range of business and operational support to both new and established clinician led provider groups nationwide. Our services include facilitating initial discussions between clinicians, providing workshops to understand the commissioning agenda and what it means for you, forming legal entities (both for profit and not for profit), strategic and operational planning, support to write and win tenders, interim management and mentoring, HR support to operate and develop quality services.

We have also developed a comprehensive portfolio of Learning and Development Programmes that have been specifically designed to optimise the skills, knowledge and performance of those involved in setting up and operating clinician led provider companies. Individuals or groups can select from the courses and workshops available from the L&D Directory or if preferred, a tailor-made package of training can be developed.
